One of the most easily accessible furniture feet is the bun foot.  As pictured to the right in a new version available on Amazon, it’s a relatively generic, but pleasant looking foot.  Basically what you have is a squatted version of the ball foot.  Of all furniture feet this one is easily available from Home Depot and even on Amazon in new form.  You can find plenty of antique bun feet on eBay as well.  Obviously, since it’s readily available, you get a lot of the same stuff which may hinder your ability to produce an original piece.

Reeded Brass Foot

Many people wonder exactly what a reeded brass foot is.  It’s not all that common, but definitely has a unique look that is sought after.  Reeding in furniture is the opposite of fluting.  This type of foot is usually placed on flared legs.  Here is an example of a new reeded brass.
