Tons of new bun furniture feet

28 July, 2011 | Furinture Feet | No Comment

Table Legs Online has a great number of new bun furniture feet available for sale.  It’s not you ordinary stock bun feet either, there are definitely some unique furniture feet.  The one I liked the best I pasted below, but it seems like it is currently out of stock.  Maybe it’ll be back in stock soon, however.  Most of the feet for sale were very affordable, from $11-$14.  If anyone has purchased from this site, let me know how it is.  I may give it a shot when the foot below comes back in stock.

Decorative Bun Furniture Feet

I really like these simple, classic decorative bun furniture feet from Classic Designs. I like the wavy sleek look of these wooden feet.  I think you can find an interesting use for these on custom furniture or as replacement feet on antique furniture.  The only thing I would like to see is some unfinished or not stained feet so it would be easier to customize them for specific projects that do not have the same stain as the feet being sold on their website.  I added to example images of the styles of furniture feet I am discussing below.

Popularity of Bun Feet Furniture

One of the most easily accessible furniture feet is the bun foot.  As pictured to the right in a new version available on Amazon, it’s a relatively generic, but pleasant looking foot.  Basically what you have is a squatted version of the ball foot.  Of all furniture feet this one is easily available from Home Depot and even on Amazon in new form.  You can find plenty of antique bun feet on eBay as well.  Obviously, since it’s readily available, you get a lot of the same stuff which may hinder your ability to produce an original piece.
